Just realized that I missed my producing anniversary rip... anyways about a week and a half ago officially marks two years I've been producing music! I've got a really long way to go and there are still many things that confuse me or that I struggle a lot with, but I'm really proud of how much I've improved so far. When I started back in 2017 I never would have imagined that I'd ever be even at this point. And while it's still very far in the distant future, I'm getting closer and closer to making my dreams a reality. It's still a huge grind but I'm getting there!
I promise this is only the beginning of it all. I've got some big things planned, some for closer in the future, and some for further in the future. For now, I'm working on another solo dubstep track that I feel already is a HUGE step up from Lunar Collapse in terms of quality. I'm hoping to feature my own vocals in it, and while it was originally meant to be a fun cool little dubstep banger it's probably gonna end up at like 6 minutes again... hope I get it out in the next few months! I'm also starting my first collab with a pretty awesome artist VERY soon and I'm super hyped about it.
For next year I'm going to write a three track EP. I feel like I need to consolitate all my skills before I start it but I've got lots of ideas and inspiration already. While the EP won't be anything huge, it'll hopefully be more like a "taste" of what I've been wanting to do with my music. For next year I may also hit up some more people for collabs and do some remixes too. And in the summer I hope to participate in the NGADM!
And... you probably won't hear me mention this for quite a while after this but I think I should put this out. Ever since I started producing I've been slowly building a massive concept double album in my head. Probably about half of the tracklist is planned and composed already. A few of those tracks I literally know note for note, sound for sound, rhythm for rhythm in my head, but I haven't actually started producing them yet because I want to wait until I can properly do them justice. Which is why I likely won't start producing this album for a couple years. Why am I mentioning it, then? Because my entire journey at this point has been building towards the creation of this album. The album so far is everything I could ever want to get out of my music. The tracks I've composed for it already are truer to myself and my vision than anything else. So yea for now just keep that in the back of your mind
For anybody at all who has followed me, left a comment, talked music with me, been my friend or even just listened to my music, thank you from the bottom of my heart. I probably would have given up early if it weren't for you guys. Thank you ESPECIALLY to @johnfn for creating Chipscompo.com. I cannot tell you HOW MUCH I have gotten out of participating on that site. I don't think I'd be even close to where I am if I never joined.
I can't express how excited I am for the future of this project. Thanks for reading this, and I hope you have a nice day :)
