I started 2019 without having even released a song under this alias. I’d had about a year and a half of experience producing, little to no connections in this scene, and had just released my first track ever with dubstep basses.

I now have about 3700 plays and about 100 followers across all media. And while that may not seem like much, it means a ton to me. That is over three thousand times that my music has been played in one year. And over a hundred people that liked my music enough to give me a follow. It’s surreal to say the least. I’ve also made lots of new friends, and have started collaborations with incredibly talented people that I never would have thought I’d be working with a year ago.

Each track this year helped me grow so much. Chaos Fracture was my first introduction to producing experimental bass, Broken Reflection was the first incredibly ambitious project that I managed to complete, Lunar Collapse took two months and with it a ton of blood sweat and tears and techniques learned, Crystalline Storms taught me how to complete a full and rich track under a very short time limit, and Sunlit Ruins was my first real foray into telling a real story through my music. All of these tracks have helped me so much to prepare for what’s coming next.

I’m going to really kick things off in 2020 starting in January.

In just a few weeks, I’m going to release a track called Glowing Tides. If you follow my Twitter you’ll see I’ve been teasing it a lot. It’s quite different from anything else I’ve made, but more important to me than anything else I’ve made before. I’ve spent months composing and orchestrating this thing. And it’s starting to come together. It’s kind of a signal for the beginning of 3YE as I’ve envisioned it for the past two and a half years. A prologue.

I also have three more tracks coming out from January to early March, the last of which being a massive project that I’ve been working on since the summer.

And lastly, 2020 is the year that I will write and complete my first EP. I already have concepts and melodies in mind. Keep your eyes out.
